Sub-divisional officer of the natural life office Khursheed Abbasi told journalists on Wednesday that the two saved creatures were snuck from Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan to Naran valley through Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road.
He said the seized creatures seized under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife and Biodiversity Act 2015 had an enormous cost both in neighborhood and worldwide markets.
He said the law banned chasing, murdering and reservations of intriguing creature species in the region.
"We have taken strict measures to check chasing of imperiled species, including national creature markhor. The seizure is an awesome achievement," he said.
Abbasi likewise said a two-month-old panther whelp was seized amid an assault on a Gidarpur house.
He said the house proprietor was held, while the fledgling was moved to Dodial lower class.
"The captured man claims he got the creature when it went to his town from the close-by woodland. We've started lawful procedures against him," he said.
The natural life authority said just the request would indicate if panther offspring was gotten in the town or in the woods.
